1. General

1.1. Isthecommunity offers private persons to take part of services offered by isthecommunity, or partners of isthecommunity, at www.isthecommunity.se The aforementioned services are free of charge.
2. Parties

Parties:
a. IstheCommunity henceforth referred to as the supplier.
b. People who choose to start a community on 'IstheCommunity. These people control the content and the members of the page. They are referred to as administrators.
c. People who sign up on already existing communities are referred to as Members.

3. Membership

3.1. The application for membership at IstheCommunity is done on the Web page www.isthecommunity.com. Members must register personal information, address and other information the supplier may request from time to time. By registering, the applicant will become a member of Isthecommunity. By registering, the applicant approves these general terms and conditions.

3.2. By registering, the member gives his/her consent to letting the supplier store information about the member by using automatic data processing membership and also any information the member has provided in connection with the registration under paragraph 3.1 above and any other information the member leaves within the boundaries of the services. The consent also includes so-called sensitive personal data, such as data of race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or any information relating to health and sex life in events where the member within the boundaries of the Services chooses to provide that data. The above-mentioned agreement may be terminated at any time via cancellation of the service, thus ending the abovementioned processing of data. The supplier, however, reserves the right to use the information provided by the user for one month after termination of the account for example in market activities. A withdrawal means that a Member’s membership of isthecommunity.com automatically ends. Through its membership in Isthecommunity, a member allows the supplier to use the data for promotional purposes for both the supplier's own services and for partners of the suppliers. These marketing campaigns can, for example, be e-mail, SMS, MMS, and Telemarketing and addressed postal mail. Furthermore, the supplier freely sells ads on the page.




4. The use of the Services

4.1. The member is responsible for assuring that the services are not used in order to spread information or data that is illegal or considered offensive or otherwise inappropriate, or that the services are used for unauthorized access to connected networks or computers or that data or information is used, destroyed or distorted without permission. The member is responsible assuring that the existence of such data or information published by The services does not infringe the rights of third parties. The member does not own the right to use the services for their own commercial purposes by, for example, passing on information about or promoting commercial services such as chain letters, pyramid schemes, spam or other activities that are not compatible with the nature of the services. Not even links to web sites through the Services distributed to the other members may contain material that is in violation with these conditions. The member is obligated to immediately inform the supplier via info@isthecommunity.com in the event where a member is suspected of abuse or unauthorized use of the services, as indicated above.

4.2. The member promises not to disclose or make their password available to third parties and to ensure that third parties do not otherwise gain access to the password. The member shall, at the suspicion that the password has been obtained by a third party, immediately block the password by informing us via info@isthecommunity.com.

4.3. All intellectual property rights relating to materials published by the Services Provider's property is an alternative property of a third party to which the supplier should cooperate and it should not be used by a member beyond what is required for use of services under current conditions. Therefore, the member does not own the right to copy, distribute, forward or otherwise make material that passed through the services available without the supplier's consent.

4.4. In the event of any abuse outlined in paragraphs 4.1 to 4.3 above, the supplier owns the right to undertake whatever steps are necessary to prevent abuse. Such measures may include shutting down or limiting the Services. For more serious violations legal actions may also be carried out.

5. Availability

5.1. The services are normally available 24 hours a day. However, failure or interruptions can occur during the abovementioned times. The supplier reserves the right to suspend services in connection with, for example, upgrade and service.

5.2. The supplier shall provide reasonable assistance to members when questions or problems arise concerning the membership of isthecommunity.com or use of the Services. Customer service can be reached via email at info@isthecommunity.com.

6. Disclaimer

6.1. The supplier has no responsibility for members or others' use of the Services or for material that the member or other members register, receive, store, transmit or make available in any other way. Furthermore, the supplier is not responsible for material that is published or for goods and services that are offered through other web pages that Isthecommunity or members of Isthecommunityse has established links to at www.isthecommunity.com.

6.2. The supplier is not responsible in any way for any loss or destruction of data or information that is made available through the Services. The supplier is not responsible for any event where an authorized or unauthorized person gains access to the services or Isthecommunity or any of the Members’ computing resources and obtains, destroys or distorts information or computing resources.

6.3 The supplier is not liable in the event of any disruption on the page.

7. Review of data and information

7.1. The supplier has the right, but not is obligated, to review data and information provided by members communicating or publishing via the Services to ensure that the members comply with their commitments to the supplier. The supplier owns the right, without prior notice to the member, to fully or partially remove such data or information that, under the Supplier assessment, is in conflict with the law, codes of conduct, the general conditions or in any other way that could otherwise be the basis for liability or criticism of the supplier.

8. Duration and Termination

8.1. Membership of Isthecommunity.com is valid until further notice. The member has the right to terminate the membership by logging in to Isthecommunity.

8.2. The supplier has the right, with immediate effect, to terminate or partially limit the whole or part of the Member’s use of the Services and terminate the membership for immediate cessation in the event where a member has abused the services in such a way described above in paragraph 4.1, or has otherwise failed to fulfill their obligations towards the supplier in accordance with these terms and conditions. The member shall compensate the supplier for the damage that may arise as a result of Member abuse of the Services or in the event that the member has acted in violation of the conditions for membership.

8.3. In the event where the member has not logged in to the account for six consecutive months, the supplier owns the right to, without prior notification to the member, terminate the membership.

9. Transfer

9.1. Membership is personal and may not be transferred to third parties. The supplier has the right to all or part of their rights and/or obligations in respect to the services to third parties.

10. Changes and additions

10.1. The supplier has the right at any moment to make amendments and/or modify these general conditions. Such changes and/or amendments shall enter into force ten days after the new conditions have been sent to the member or published at isthecommunity.com. In the event that the member does not approve the changes and additions, he/she has the right to terminate the membership of Isthecommunity.se in accordance with paragraph 8.1 above. If such a termination does not occur, the member is considered to have accepted the new conditions.

11. Supplement for administrators

All of the abovementioned points also apply to administrators. In addition to the conditions above, the following additional conditions for administrators also apply:

The administrator must ensure that guestbook entries of one’s own community are not in violation with the law. The administrator is responsible for removing inappropriate remarks and for blocking users engaged in this. An administrator who does not meet the requirements outlined by the supplier on the webpage can be suspended as an administrator and blocked from the service. The administrator right may be transferred to another member; otherwise the supplier assumes that responsibility. The administrator can never receive compensation if he or she is suspended due to the abovementioned.
